01 ARIA 19 SNORKELING and protective MASK 

Light and strong, a perfect fit for all sizes, and anti-fog thanks to the patented breathing circulation system inside the mask. Originally used as a tool to explore the underwater world, the ARIA has been reimagined to provide protection and ensure clean breathing air. From home improvement sanding and painting to working in COVID-19 sites and areas with poor air quality, the ARIA 19 Kit is the ideal air filtration solution.

The kit contains:  

• ARIA 19 mask with snorkel
• APA (ARIA Protection Adapter) - compatible with filters that comply with EN 148-1 standard.
• RD40-22mm - screwed on the APA, compatible with filters that comply with ISO 5356-1.
• 04 P3 Filter - filter with a standard thread connector (EN 148-1, RD 40-1/7"). Protects against aerosols, particles, mist, fumes, and dust. 

MESTEL SAFETY received the extraordinary validation for Personal Protection Equipment from INAIL (National Institute for Insurance against Accidents at Work).

HOW IT WORKS as a personal protective mask : 

AIR FILTRATION

Potentially contaminated air is breathed in from the user, drawing it in from only one inlet (the filter adapter APA) through the filter body, and through a one-way only valve. 

The filter purifies the air according to its certified properties and characteristics.

 

FRESH AIR FLOW 

The safe, breathable air then moves onto the visor, pushed onto it from a deflector placed in the topside of the mask: this action prevents fogging. The air is then drawn through one-way valves in the orinasal pocket where the user breathes in. 

The patented breathing circulation system prevents fogging thanks to the air circulation inside.

 

SAFE BREATHING

Once the user exhales, the two one-way valves in the specifically designed orinasal pocket prevent the air’s return in the ocular part of the mask.

The only way the air will be forced to go through is the one-way valve of the chin, to the outside of the mask.

 

INAIL CERTIFICATION

MESTEL SAFETY SRL - OCEAN REEF Group received the extraordinary validation for the Personal Protective Equipment of third category from the Italian National Institute for Insurance against Accidents at Work (INAIL), constituted by the ARIA mask assembled with the APA adapter (ARIA Protection Adapter) and the P3 filter, certified under the EN136: 2000 standard.

 

FACE SEAL

Our face-seal is made of very soft rubber with a supple bellows-type structure which allows perfect sealing and very high degree of comfort, even after very prolonged use.

FEATURES 

• Easy use APA and RD40 adapters are easy to assemble on the ARIA 19 mask, also when it is worn.

• The strap can be quickly adjusted and fits well with almost any face shape, allowing comfortable wear and removal.

• The voice can be heard clearly throughout the ARIA 19 mask, allowing effective communication.

• The high-transparency visor allows perfect vision (wide optical field) with a slight optical distortion in few areas.

 

FILTERS - CONFIGURATION

The ARIA 19 mask can be used as a personal protection device in two different configurations:

1. APA + P3 FILTER

2. APA + RD40 + HEPA Filter

APA + P3 FILTER

 

In combination with the ARIA Protection Adapter (APA) and a P3 filter (standard thread connector EN1481, RD 40-1/7”). This filter protects against mist, aerosols, particles, fumes and dust.

The RD40–22mm, screwed on the APA, is compatible with filters that comply with ISO 5356-1.

Connection for APA, or SGE Gas Masks to HEPA filters.

APA + RD40 + HEPA Filter

In combination with the ARIA Protection Adaptor (APA), the RD40 40-22 mm adapter (conical connector 22mm - ISO 5356-1) and a HEPA filter (standard connection ISO 5356-1), this filter protects against airborne and liquid-borne microbial pathogens. OPTICAL LENS SUPPORT (Not Included in the kit)

It is possible to insert the removable optical lens support inside the ARIA 19 mask. Customizable corrective lenses can be mounted on the support. Corrective standard lenses from -1 to -4 are available as alternative.
